Get to go pickup a refill of teh diazepam early this afternoon, which is nice as I’ve been in a bit of constant discomfort for the past eight farking days. (Especially on the flight from LAS to ATL yesterday.)

In re the media narrative on DACA: yesterday, two people I know (my brother and a trans male high school student I’ve known since she was born) posted about fighting for the rights of Dreamers and against the evil Trump. I asked them both if they would feel any differently about the situation if President Trump had done nothing and instead allowed the courts to declare DACA unconstitutional, as they had with DAPA, thus putting an immediate end to the program. Wasn’t it better to extend the protections while forcing Congress to address the issue?
