Thankgiving Eve salutations from Happy Larryville, Wheelizens!
CorporateToolK is off starting today, which is mighty nice for her. Since I have a bunch of work-y stuff to do, I shall try not to seethe with jealousy. 😉
Had a new garage door opener installed yesterday so I couldn’t go until about 3:30 and it was crowded, but the people at this Walmart are almost always very good and it was not unpleasant other than the crowding. Also had to find a couple of late add ons that were not well described, ” Not the usual brands but I know it when I see it” which is of little help as she wasn’t there. I guess it means “I can’t tell you what I want you to get or where to find it but I can tell you it is wrong when you get it.” Wife speak! I did find it all but I had to ask an employee who had to ask two others. I hate to bother them when they are that busy but they all acted like they were happy to help. I love Texas!!!
Going to be quiet this year. Most of the family is going on a trip to celebrate one’s retirement so we got together and had pizza last Friday. We are sitting three cats while they are away. Tomorrow will be just Elena and I, and her sister and father. Going to be lots of turkey sandwiches for a while.
Today is day 37 with no insulin. Interesting to see if I make it through the holiday without using it. I think I will. Down 14 pounds since the end of July. Be interesting to see how that holds as well.

BBL.
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
I have to run to the market for some last minute ingrediments -- not looking forward to it.
Did that yesterday. Good luck, Paddy.
Hai, Paddy and Mac!
Sure hope Paddy survives…and finds everything he needs in one stop.
(I went to a grocery store yesterday as well, Mac; wasn’t nearly so bad as I’d feared.)

That’s great to hear, Mac! That is something to be both thankful for and proud of!
Echoing that.
Happy Wednesday, folks. And happy Thanksgiving Day eve!
