Didn’t watch the SOTU last night (but will look for highlights and lowlights later today). Did read that the Jackasses were petulant, scowly drama queens throughout; meh.
It’s sad! that Congress too-often behaves like a H.S. student government.
I watched most of the SOTU speech last night. It was actually not bad. Trump made excellent use of his invited guests and their stories while the Dems sat there with their sad and disapproving faces.
Mrs Sven is feeling marginally better -- thanks again for all your good thoughts and prayers.

Based on a few bits I read earlier, folks who aren’t partisan hacks thought Trump did a pretty good job last night. (Apparently the same cannot be said about Joe Kennedy III.)

I watched part of the SOTU late last night and I have to say it was pretty darned good. As Sven said, PDT made good use of his invited guests and at times even turned to the Dems and gestured for them to stand up, which they did. I’ll have to check out the media and GOPe response.
