First… I LOVE the picture of mom with the pepe l’peux babies. They are Keee-yuuuute. (cute)
Second… wow… I also liked seeing the picture of fatwa’s birthday present! I had no idea that they sold laser sights on revolvers . I don’t know WHY I didn’t know that, but I didn’t.
I saw the picture and it kind of reminded me of my viper…. Which made me a little wistful… so I did a search… and realized …. Holy cow! I can’t believe we let the moisture get to it under the bed. I REALLY wish we had left it between the mattresses where it was protected. The price on that gun has gone up ridiculously. In good condition they are THOUSANDS of DOLLARS. I paid $199. But the sentimental value is even more.
Even my 44mag has gone up. (less sentimental value for me.) I think I paid around $200 for it. They are going for $600. But it’s in perfect condition. And we still have the box.
Tell Fatwa to keep it away from open windows and doors. His has an aluminum frame also, and it doesn’t seem to hold the bluing after 20 years if you don’t keep it protected from moisture and light.
I was surprised years ago when Best Man showed me a .38 snubby with laser grips; I had no idea about them, either.
The laser on mine is a tiny little thing; pretty amazing in comparison with the first laser I actually saw up-close ca. 1966. (Dang, I’m old.)
Tell Fatwa to keep it away from open windows and doors.
T’anks, Mrs. S. Will do…so long as the neighbors behave themselves. 👿
On a more serious note, good to know about the bluing on the frame; fortunately, I tend to take good care of tools, electronics, instruments, etc. (Jim teh Roofer is always surprised at how phones I’ve had for years look nearly new…but he’s pretty hard on things like phones. And F-150s.) 🙂
Hahahahaha*schnort*hahahaaa! I don’t care who you are, that thread pic’s teh funnee.
Will do, Mac. Having those danged cataracts removed made a big difference for her.
Heh.
If only ’twere true. 🙁
We’re finally getting our roof replaced today; YAY!
It’s been more than a bit weird being on the other side of the whole process. OTOH, having some knowledge made vetting contractors fairly easy. 👿
More laterz.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Love the thread pic, Mac!
All this talk of pistols reminds me that I need to do some reloading, then head out to the range for some practice.
Ha! Mrs Sven kilted teh thread!
I’m not gonna tell her!
Me neither.
She could not kill it, she just moved us to awed silence in appreciation.
