Lazy Sunday greetin’s from drizzly yet Happy Larryville, Wheelizens.
Rain today, wind tomorrow; nature’s apparently decided to QC our new roof. (Which we are very glad to have; we’re lucky we didn’t get more of the wind aftermath of Irma last year or we’d have likely had some non-trivial problems.)
When the guy who came to put out the roofing company’s lawn sign couldn’t find the house -- as he was given an address which doesn’t exist -- he called me while I was grocery shopping at Walmart. I gave him the correct address and told him to look for the very shiny roof across teh street.
He was amused. 🙂
We really did luck out last September; I recall sitting at the computer doing SoCal roofing-related paperwork and cringing every time a strong gust came through the neighborhood.

Fatwa -- I’m glad you’ve got a new roof to protect you from the elements -- and that you didn’t get any significant damage from Irma.

Happy Sunday and good morning, GN!
153 years ago, Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Why don’t we hear about this in the media? Why aren’t we reminded of this date?
R. Lee Ermey has passed away from complications of pneumonia at the age of 74. RIP, Gunney and Semper Fi.
