Monday greetin’s, Wheelizens! Too bad teh thread kitteh wasn’t wearing a helmet.
The Great Blue Wave!
I sure hope Mac’s thread GIF “prognostication” is correct. While it’s not looking good for Team Blue right now, anything could happen between now and Election Day; I anticipate the ugliest election cycle of my lifetime. And it’s not as though Team Red offers me anything to get excited about, save they’re not quite as icky as their opponents. Mostly.
Bah!
Hope to make some good progress today on the bid package for those twenty-two buildings encompassing ~120 townhomes; I’d like to get it out by Friday; we’ll just see how that goes. 👿
Saw that next weekend’s gonna be a leetle warm out there when I checked SoCal weather earlier; that’s teh suck.
For the most part it’s always voting for the lesser of two evils.
Yup…sadly. Too bad so very few elected officials at all levels take their oaths to support and defend the COTUS seriously. And shame on us voters for putting up with that.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
I saw some video yesterday of one of the marches held over the weekend to protest something or other. The cameraman was in front of the march and you could see a line of people, wearing red mesh vests, holding hands acting as both a “pace car” for the march and to keep people from getting in the faces of the ubiquitous front row of banner carriers. What I found interesting was that there was another small group of people with earpieces who were telling the red vest crew what to do. They had them all halt at a specific point, then squat down, then the media had a few minutes to get their shots, then they stood up and resumed the march. A real grassroots effort, that was.
There was a pro-Tump rally in Portland, OR by some group called Patriot Prayer over the weekend which was properly permitted.
Of course, masked Antifa goons showed up, were allowed by the immunized, armed goonyun thugs to attack the peaceful Trump supporters, and then a “riot” was declared when folks started fighting back and “the authoritahs” made everyone disperse.

Appears that summer is on its way out here -- Friday’s high will be 30 degrees higher than today’s. Not looking forward to that. Nope. Not at all.
Hi, Fatwa, and happy Monday, GN!
G’day, Sven!

NWA was right.
