Being that my next firearms purchase will likely be an AR-15, Mac’s thread pic definitely hits home. đŸ˜‰
I sure hope that -- assuming he’s actually confirmed -- Kavanaugh will rely strictly upon the COTUS as his guide. No “emanations”, “penumbras” or carpy precedents.
The anti-2A folks are already upset: “Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s extreme outlier approach to the Second Amendment would elevate gun rights above public safety and put in jeopardy the full range of gun safety laws — including assault weapons and large-capacity magazine prohibitions, minimum age requirements, safe storage requirements, and other common-sense gun safety laws.”
A cousin of mine in L.A. seriously considered driving here to drop-off his ARs for safekeeping. He wound up registering them; decided that was his least-lousy option. (Which it probably was but what a Hobson’s choice.)
At least he was able to register them. Some people weren’t and when they finally got through on the system, the deadline had passed and they are now facing prosecution. I also read the other day about a massive data breach that is exposing firearms owners’ personal data.
Sorry about teh humidity; ‘taint pleasant when it’s that warm.
Best Man sent me an article a couple of days ago about the data breach. That’s why we should always trust Teh Cycle State. I’m sure nobody will get punished or fired.
I sure do miss living in a state run by acolytes of such fine men as Lavrentiy Beria.
G’day, Wheelizens!

It’s gonna be an ugly confirmation process.
Hi, Fatwa.

To which I say, faster, please.
Agreed.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
While not up to Georgia levels, the increased humidity, coupled with the heat, are making outside conditions unpleasant (93°F with 70% RH).
Heigh-ho, Paddy!
