I was remiss in thanking Mac earlier for his thoughts re Defense Distributed’s gear, so “thanks, Mac!!1!”
Something to think about — because of California’s micro-stamping law, no new handgun models have been introduced for sale in the state since 2013.
Jeebus…I wasn’t aware of that out there. Hypothetical: could one legally purchase a post-2013 handgun in another state and then bring it into CA as one’s personal property?
Either way, the CA State Assembly, as well as certain City Councils and Boards of Supervisors, have way too many of the type of folks our Founders wanted us to be able to protect ourselves from.

Good question. You would have to be a resident of another state, purchase the handgun there, then move to California. At which time you would have to register the handgun with the State. While the state DOJ website is pretty clear about prohibiting the importation of assault weapons, it’s not very clear on importing for personal use handguns that aren’t on the list approved for sale.
Happy Almost Friday Day, GN; owl be very glad when this week is over.
This is the first time I’ve seen burglary suspects’ descriptions include their underwear:

Criminy.
Hi, Fatwa -- happy Thursday, GN. I’m with you, Fatwa, on being glad when this week is done. Lately, M-F seems to be getting longer and longer.
Thanks for your impressions and information yesterday, Mac. I was really curious to see what you thought of the equipment.
Only in Texas: Pecan Pie Vending Machine. A 24-hour vending machine restocked daily with homemade full-sized pecan pies.

Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Mac -- thanks for your input on the DD milling machines. It will be interesting to see how flexible they become in the future.

Hai, Sven and Paddy!

Cheers, Paddy.
What a detestable state of affairs; Sacramento needs the disinfectant power of a thousand suns.
