LambiePieK and I just finished our traditional Sunday Trader Joe’s chocolate croissants; yum! (Whoever figured out a way to freeze dough which makes respectable croissants is a bloody genius.)
I like that it didn’t stop him from taking a second shot.
I was amused by that, too; took a few viewings before I noticed. Priorities, I guess.
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
I was working in the yard yesterday, trying to level out an area where we’re going to put the fountain and I had to remove a few roots -- some from a couple of liquid amber trees that used to be there, some from a pine tree that is on our slope. I didn’t get them all and will have to work on it a bit more this afternoon.
Probably a good read: ” “Pennywise, Jack Torrance, Barlow, Randall Flagg—there are so many classic villains that I’ve loved writing,” King said in an interview. “But you know who’s more evil than any of them? Brett Kavanaugh. My work has always focused on the evil humanity is capable of—as well as the strength of the human spirit—and I can’t think of any better way to test the fortitude of my characters than to put them in the dark shadow of a Supreme Court that leans to the right.”
So says the man who completely screwed over Sarah Palin and destroyed her completely with his bullshit.
STEVE SCHMIDT: “That’s not to mention the baby internment camps, the indecency, the cruelty, the meanness, the lying, the complicit nature of this Republican majority with an attack on the country that’s launched by the Russian Federation. So the Republican party of Teddy Roosevelt and John McCain and Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush is dead. It’s over. It doesn’t exist anymore. It has been taken over, lock, stock, and barrel. For there to be any redemption of a right of center conservative party in the United States of America means the party of Trump must be destroyed politically.”
Watching the protests in DC -- I wonder what it would take to move our Capital from DC to someplace more geographically central to America like Oklahoma? You watch these protest events or leftie gatherings and it’s all local people -- not many of them non-letfies- and you get the impression that it’s representative of America when it isn’t.
Sunday greetin’s, Wheelizens!

Here’s the pile:

The trash can is also filled with smaller pieces.
I can’t seem to embed photos from Google photo, so I guess I’ll just have to go with the link.
I have been having trouble posting pictures in comments as well. Sometimes I have to go into edit and add it there to get it to post.
Well damn! That looks more like trunks than roots. Quite a task.
Those are indeed very heft roots.

I enjoy King’s earlier books but he is such a twit I thought this was real until I saw the source.
Heh.

What a dick.
“What a dick.”
Eloquent, and so right!

Brings to mind something about nuking from orbit.
