Thanks for that summary of the JAMA article; it’s almost like they had a narrative to support. (The AMA is, IMO, one of America’s most successful protectionist trade organizations.) 👿
While it could change at any time, the expected amount of local rain from Florence has dropped significantly overnight. (Wasn’t really worried about it except for its potential effect on LambiePieK’s commute early next week.)
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
I’m glad to see that Florence has been downgraded to category 2 -- it was flirting with Cat 5 for a while. I’ve got friends who were evacuated from near Virginia Beach, VA, but it looks like they’re not going to get hit. Another friend in Raleigh should also see significantly less rain than they originally thought.
Hope your friends -- and their property -- stay safe.
Latest forecast indicates we might get 0.5″ of Florence-related rain Sunday and that’s about it.
Learned earlier that in addition to their “storm center”, Waffle House deploys jump teams to disaster areas so that local employees can deal with their families, homes, etc.
Good afternoon, GN. I’ve been watching the leaked google video of their company meeting a couple of days after the 2016 election. What a bunch of children.

I’m sure the video is fake -- none of the MSM has covered it, at all.
