The pulled pork I cooked on Saturday turned out great, but took longer than expected. Of course this particular piece was about 50% larger than the ones I normally cook. Good thing we had that extra hour.
In the FFS department, here’s the latest repeated idiocy from my brother:
If you don’t go out to meet the migrant caravan with food, water, clothing, and shelter, you aren’t a Christian (hey, bro, where should I meet you? I’ll bring printed directions to your house.)
and
If you don’t support people illegally crossing the border to escape violence, you are no longer allowed to watch The Sound of Music.
I’m somewhat excited about tomorrow night. Hoping for the best, Dems in tears and all that, but not holding my breath. Figure to vote after work and if things seem to be going the right way (pun intended -ha!) then may hit the bar where I watched some of the 2016 returns.
Hopefully I’ll be singing this tomorrow night around midnight to any and all libs I run into:
I’ve been tramped baby, I’ve been slammed around
And around
I’ve been fed baby, been misled been
Let down
Working hard for so long girl you wouldn’t believe
Sweat in my eyes, sting like a bitch
Choking on your disease
I’m a shell shocked mongrel, battle fatigue
First you blister, then you bleed
Beat to Death like a Dog
Elena and I voted on the 22nd,I believe, the first day of early voting. I have been discouraged about the election, but just lately I have felt a bit more hope. There is so much at stake. I confess I am interested to see the resulting violence if the Democrats lose again. They have really gone overboard to revolt decent people but the MSM has been working frantically to spin things and I think we have seen the cheating and fraud will be massive and desperate.
I will be watching tomorrow. 2016 was a surprise to me. I hope tomorrow will be another.
That moment of enlightenment…
Good morning, GN!
Off to work -- happy election day eve, GN!
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

It’s nice when relatives and others set the standards for your life and beliefs.
Isn’t it? I don’t know what I’d do without that sage advice.

I hope you get to fully enjoy the saltiness of their tears and the lamentations of their
