Happy Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Today is cleaning day at Casa du O’Furnijur (since everyone is coming here on Thursday). Cleaning and last-minute shopping (which I tried to avoid by getting everything last Friday, but that never works).
Yeah, we’re having people over on Thursday, too; I started cleaning on Saturday.
Thank goodness for Trader Joe’s ham (which is SackO’Sugar’s favorite in all the land) and pre-cooked turkey breast roasts. But we still have to make Squash of teh Godz -- which is stupidly labor- and time-intensive. And some other sides.
Bah!
I say again…BAH!!1!
I’m already looking forward to Friday: no guests and mucho leftovers.
(My bride will freakin’ cut any guests who get too grabby with the remaining ham or squash.)
