Concur with a lot of what you opined yesterday.
“Conservative” (hah!) pundits and pols have been getting a pass for way too damned long. I’d have thought the shitty, dismissive treatment of the Tea Partiers would have been a wake-up call to more people, but that clearly wasn’t the case.
To quote Andrew Breitbart (whom I still miss), “War!”
I would prefer that our country remain “a nation of laws”, but that seems unlikely. Which scares the hell out of me.

It seems to me that conservatives -- and not the cuck-shed conservatives of the punditry; real conservatives -- are pushing back to an ever greater extent. Good! If we had done so earlier, we might have avoided some of the yet-to-come unpleasantness that will be visited upon this nation, but that’s water under the bridge.
This resonated with me today: “This brings me to the CinC again, people are tired of being compared to sheep and tired of being told to what to do by politicians pretending to be acting to protect the citizens. Even though I’m not a big Trump fan I understand the appeal, more so with each passing day. Trump disrupts the operation of the tax farm, he’s screwing with the status quo, he’s making the power structure really uncomfortable. Trump is the first of “a little rebellion” that Jefferson talks about in his letter. Trump wasn’t elected to be a peacemaker, he wasn’t elected to make people happy and comfortable he was elected to be a disruptor, to break things and piss people off.
