LEESBURG, Va. (AP) — Lyndon LaRouche Jr., the political extremist who ran for president in every election from 1976 to 2004, including a campaign waged from federal prison, has died. He was 96.
LaRouche’s political action committee confirmed Wednesday on its website that LaRouche died a day earlier.
I think they didn’t leave enough space between the lower flashing and the shingles, so when we got heavy rains, the water was building up against the upper edge of the shingles and entering through the vent opening.
Thanks, Sven. I didn’t get a chance to look today, but it only seems to be a problem with very heavy rains. I’ll probably climb up on the roof next weekend (after I’m feeling better) and check things out. It may just be easier to take care of it myself.
Happy VD, GN!
Cute thread GIF, Mac!
Don’t forget the well-poisoning. 👿
BBL.
One of the few people who won’t be running for President in 2020 is Lyndon LaRouche:

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Good amounts of rain came down overnight -- we get the brunt of the next storm starting around noon today. Right now, south of LA is getting hammered.
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation! Which is how I feel this morning.
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
We got lot’s of rain and high winds last night, and it’s starting up again.
Hi, Sven and Paddy!
Paddy --
Hope your roof is now watertight.
Sven --
Hope yours remains that way.
Moar paperwork, emails and phone calls; whee!
The half-moon vent they fixed is fine -- now I think the other two are leaking. I’l have Teh Younger go up in the crawl space and check.
According to my neighbor’s weather station, we’ve had 2.7″ of rain since midnight.
Aw, man…if I knew a bad word, I’d use it.
I sure hope those vents aren’t actually leaking

Here’s hoping for no leaks.
