Every time I think our MSM can’t possibly get hackier and more tone-deaf, they rise to the occasion. I’d check-out their ratings over the past two weeks, but I just don’t give a damn.
Not a good situation for a constitutional republic, but I have no clue how to deal with it; guess we’ll see what the market has to say.
When the govt allows itself to have lower standards than they apply to its citizens, you are begging for trouble. Imagine any corporation allowed this:
“Except as otherwise provided by statute, a public employee is not liable for an injury resulting from his act or omission where the act or omission was the result of the exercise of the discretion vested in him, whether or not such discretion be abused.”
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Mrs. Paddy drives out to Scottsdale this morning for a disaster response workshop. She’ll be back late Sunday, then flies out to KC Wednesday morning for another workshop. Busy, busy.
Thanks for the link, Sven. The article brings an interesting question to mind: if there is already a federal law that says cities and states can’t prohibit or restrict the flow of information to ICE, then why aren’t the feds prosecuting certain governors, mayors, and sheriffs?
Booga booga booga, GN!

Amused to see my Romanian homey get some props:
Happy Thursday, GN -- the weekend is almost here! Hot Air has a nice post on the killing of Kate Steinle and how no one in CA govt is liable for it:

Worth reading if you need to get your blood pressure up.

Hi, Sven!
I’ll skip the linked article, as 1) I’m plenty disgusted over that whole situation already, and 2) my BP’s already high enough.
But I’m sure the best solution is even moar gummint.
