Today’s thread GIF is reminiscent of me in junior high school gym class.
Sven --
Bummer about your eye; glad there’s a remedy and that you’re scheduled for same.
Paddy --
Good luck with teh washing machine repair. When our old combo one started leaking slightly, I traced it to the pump. After research -- including several YT videos -- we decided it wasn’t worth trying to repair it. (It was a 23-y.o. mid-tier unit which, IMO, had provided more than adequate service.)
Mac --
Cheers for the safe travel wishes.
We made it back unscathed and there were no ugly incidents. (There were several instances of eye-rolling, though.)
Sorry for confusing whose washing machine was causing problems; d’oh!!
Can’t rightly say Mother’s Day “ended well”, but it didn’t end in an ugly manner…which is the best which could realistically be expected.
(Unfortunately, one must sometimes be superficially polite to individuals one finds contemptible. Until one no longer needs to do so…a day I look forward to, TBH.)
No worries, brother Fatwa. The pump assy came today and I got it back in with some bit of sweat, but now I can’t get the damn housing to line up so I’ll have to finish up tomorrow.
Happy Monday, GN!

BBL.
Glad you are unscathed, Fatwa -- hope the day was enjoyable. Happy Monday, GN!
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- thanks for the good wishes, but it’s Sven that has to replace the pump assembly on his washer. Glad to hear that Mother’s Day ended well.
