I’ve never seen any of the “M:I” films, but I loved the original series…preposterous as it was.
Dad was amused by all of the fake, vaguely Eastern European countries they visited, especially the signage on the old step van which appeared in nearly every episode but with different markings. He was especially tickled by one episode in which the van was a “Gaz” truck (that being the Romanian word for “gas”).
The fake languages were collectively referred to by the writers as “Gellerese”, after exec producer Bruce Geller.
Always loved the music -- along with the score for “Mannix”; Lalo Schifrin was the best thing to come from Argentina next to dropping commies from choppers. 👿
In the middle of Times Square, protesters are chanting "We don't want no #Jew state!" At the ‘al-Quds Day,’ #NewYork rally supporters called to “globalize the #intifada” which is an open invitation for violence and terror. pic.twitter.com/6NO1AxOFWM
Impossible Wednesday salutations, Wheelizens.

Charming.
And the media remains silent and complicit.
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
I hope Sven’s eye appointment goes well this morning.
Fatwa -- thanks for the trip down memory lane. Mission Impossible was a weekly favorite in our household.
