That Rockwell drill looked like quite a handful; quite a reminder that electric motor -- not to mention battery -- technology has advanced a bit in the last ~60-70 years.
I’ve been following Michael Yon’s reports out of Hong Kong. Surprising that the MSM isn’t spending more time covering the protests. If you had a million people protesting for the gay community or “gun safety” it would be 24/7.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
‘Coons -- always looking out for you.
Sven -- it’s amazing what major stories the MSM will embargo.
Fatwa -- I remember when a friend bought a battery-powered circular saw. It had a 4 1/2 inch blade and was okay for light cutting. The battery took 6 hours to recharge. Now you can get saws with a 6 1/2 inch blade that will power through 2x8s and 3/4 inch plywood with no problem. The batteries also recharge in 30 minutes.
The MSM is ignoring HK because they’re protesting against communism. 👿
(Also, their carrying of American flags, singing the Star Spangled Banner and holding signs in favor of our 2A just reinforce that the HK protestors are “enemies” insofar as the MSM is concerned.)
Paddy --
Cordless power tools sure make a difference at JimCo. For the past several years, the only extension cords I see on our roofs are being used to recharge batteries and phones; not connected to tools. (Except for electric leaf blowers when we work in Santa Monica, as the two-stroke blowers are verboten there and carry a fine -- $150.00 per instance two years ago; it may have gone up by now.)
Hi Paddy -- good evening, Fatwa. I see that RBG had another cancer treatment. Tough old bird, but I’d love to see her seat open up while Trump is still POTUS.
If it’s pancreatic cancer, the survivability is not good -- 20% 1 year; 7% 5 year. If it’s metastatic cancer from elsewhere, the prognosis is still not good.
It’s Evil Raccoon Friday…wooooooo!

BBL.

Coon logic -- can’t argue with it.
Hi Fatwa -- glad that Friday is here.

Hey, Sven!
What you said.

Given her track record, she’s in the 7% group. God bless her anyhow.
Yep.
I saw this on AoS and LOL’d.
And she’s like the up and comer too.
