One of the most galling things about colossal gummint cock-ups atrocities like Waco and Ruby Ridge is the utter lack of accountability our “employees” get away with.
I’m actually a bit surprised that a Houston cop who is responsible for the deaths of two people and their dog -- as well as four cops being shot -- in a bullshit drug raid earlier this year has been charged with two counts of felony murder:
The facts are appalling, but in the end I believe the scumbag will walk. Because the system rarely holds itself accountable.
As Mel Brooks put it, “It’s good to be the king!”
We have way too many goddamned laws in this country, and most people fail to understand that every law which gets passed will -- sooner or later -- be enforced by men with guns and dogs.
I look on Google image and in spite of pages of stories there is not a picture I could find of the Deputy. I could understand when he was seen as a victim but having admitted it was a fraud?

He’s still a “brave hero” insofar as the goonyun’s concerned; po-po have lots of special protections because of that exalted status. (After all, ravening dachshunds, Jack Russell terriers and golden retrievers ain’t gonna shoot themselves. Ditto innocent citizens.)
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Sven, and Mac!
Gentlemen -- I have nothing to add to what each of you has said. I’m a big supporter of law and order, which is why I find it increasingly difficult to support the police.
It’s Mountaineering Kitteh Monday!

Hi, Fatwa -- happy Monday, GN!
More fresh hell dropping on us this week courtesy of orangemanbad. Not sure its exact form, but you know it’s coming.
At least there’s the Labour Day holiday next week to look forward to…if Trump doesn’t cancel it or kill us all before then.
This was big news locally last week when it was supposedly real.
Lancaster deputy made up story about being shot by a sniper, official says

That’s a good question, Mac.
Off to make a few bucks. Poof.
G’mornin’, Sven and Mac!

Hee. Well put.
Har!
I have to say I’m most amused by this.

It couldn’t happen to a nicer group.
