Clearly that’s not Rudolph in the thread pic; “reindeer games” would seem to be contraindicated with those two.

Sorry you’re still illin’; get better, please. ๐

Hope you got some rest.
JimCo’s keeping me hopping again this week; sure hope something leads to an L.A. trip (or two) later this year.
I think it’s nice that Pelosi had all of those commemorative impeachment pens -- embossed with her signature -- to hand out yesterday. Wonder who paid for them… ๐ฟ
My thought for the day: “…We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…”
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Busy morning, so far. Lots of data to cross-check and correct and reports to review. I’ll have to review the reports from one of my teachers after she makes the corrections I gave her yesterday afternoon. I can’t trust her to make the corrections properly. She probably won’t get them to me until the end of the day.

Bah! But sure, all teachers are underpaid.
*Eyeroll*
Too bad unions, the NEA, etc. are so against a meritocracy in teaching.
The few truly excellent teachers I had K-12 made a yuuuuge difference in what I learned from them…plus, they provided an impetus for me to seek out even more knowledge in particular disciplines.
Not to mention the way inept and/or lazy teachers made me dread certain subjects or classes. ๐
Fortunately, I no longer work for a union school, but last year, when discussing salary increases, my boss couldn’t accept the idea that in any given position, some people should make more than others. I advocated for a salary increase for someone we were actively recruiting, and no change for the person whose work needs constant checking.
Thursday greetin’s, GN!

BBL.
Hi, Fatwa -- glad that Jim’s business is booming yet l and keeping you busy.
Heh. Brussels sprouts.
Hi, Sven --
Probably more accurate to say that opportunity is booming; all we can do is play the percentages.
My thought for the day: “…We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…”
Poof, ya’all.

Sad. It’s the 21st Century, Paddy. Believe all women.

Kind of an obvious idea, but still amusing to me:
so obvious once you see it. But no Democrat thought of it, because the left can’t meme.
So more history was made today. Yeah.
