Hi, Sven, Mac and Paddy; cheers for teh kind wishes.
Spent a chunk of the morning moving documents I generated in L.A. over to my desktop (which is my “main” machine). I’m still resistant to synching everything via the “cloud”.
Unpacking: bah! (Glad I did laundry before I started packing to come home.)
Flight arrived nearly an hour early last night; the pilot said we had quite a vigorous tailwind.
Also Hartsfield Jackson Airport: bah! They had traffic to the drop-off / pickup areas restricted to two farking lanes last night due to “construction” which appeared to consist of a lot of cement barriers, cones and a passel of union goons in hardhats and reflective vests earning (probably) double-time with no apparent work being performed for the better part of an hour.
The State has been making noises about taking control of the airport away from the City of Atlanta; I doubt they would do a worse job (or be more corrupt) than the city.
You’re welcome, Mac, and glad you enjoyed it. I think this is the type of information, and presented in a thoughtful-respectful-low key manner, that helps our side in this battle. We need more of this.
Biden is getting a bump in CA, ahead of Warren now, but she’ll still get my vote. I’d much prefer a three-way battle at least coming out of Tuesday rather than just two with Biden and Sanders going at it.
Chaos, baby, It’s what’s for breakfast Wednesday morning.
Strictly speaking, Open primaries make no sense to me. Who ever came up with the idea? Party X should only really be interested in the votes of Party X members.
I assume it probably was a political move to disrupt party Y’s primaries when Party X thought it had an advantage in doing so. But I really don’t know. It seems nonsensical to me.
I agree, but I didn’t make the rules. California has what they call a “jungle” primary where the two top vote getters, regardless of party, is what we get to vote for in the general election. Will there be a single Republican on the November ballot for statewide office? Probably not.
I’m a non-affiliated voter. As such, I can pick my ballot and in this case, the Dems allow me to choose theirs. I don’t think the Republicans allow it.
It’s “Up To My Azz In Alligators” Monday, GN!
Sven --
Will check-out that doc you recommended.
Nice to be back in Larryville; carp to do; BBL.
Glad you made it home safely, Fatwa --
Sven, thank you for the rec on the documentary. I recorded it last night and saw enough to be intrigued. I will watch it tonight.
Fatwa, glad you got home OK. Hope you can adjust easily.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning Fatwa-teh-Wanderer, Sven, and Mac!
Fatwa -- glad you made it home safely -- I understand about the carp-tonne of work.

The documentary Sven mentioned is excellent. I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to sharing it with Elena. Thank you, Sven.
I highly recommend this.

Could not agree more.

Don’t know why they have these in any party.
Anyway, super tuesday coming up tomorrow. Also my Dental Appointment. Not sure which is worse.

Chris Matthews is done at MSNBC. Cool. Keep eating your own. I’m not in the mood for mercy for these people.
