Awwww! Thanks, Mac.
That’s pretty accurate … especially when I’m reading.

Happy Sunday, EveryGerbillyBody!

I guess I made it through Week 5 in good shape -- I start full-time tomorrow. 🙂

Fatwa, I’m glad the job’s working out better and smoother than the last. That’s a goodness.

First thing yesterday morning, I was already reading about Barrett’s church … and man, “fake but accurate” still lives and breathes as a journalistic tool.
Criminy.

And speaking of Sundowner Joe, Mr. TeX was wondering just how his team is going to manage the upcoming day of the debate. I don’t think naps and amphetamines help. Maybe that’s why Kamala called it the “Harris-Biden” campaign.

I don’t even know what to think about the upcoming election -- except I do think it’s going to make the “Hanging Chad” debacle look like a minor speed bump. One way or another.

With that happy thought, I’m off to make some potato salad in time for lunch.

BBL.

A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, TeX!

I read in the local paper that there was another vehicle that plowed through protestors yesterday. Only this time it was a BLM supporter who intentionally drove through a crowd of counter-protestors. At least two people were seriously injured and the driver is in custody. I’m sure this made/will make the national news. Not.

TeX -- I fear you are right about the election.

Hi, TeX and Paddy!

Today was Jim’s twin boys’ 25th birfday; it was nice to see both of them (plus their sister and her family) all at the same times. Good young people; they make me feel a wee bit better about the country my grands are gonna grow up in.

Maaaaaaan…really needed a three-day weekend but only got two; bah!

Hope I can make it through three more weeks of this project without losing my shit with some mouth-breathing homeowner.

Too. Old. For. This. Shit.

Sadly, I think TeX is right about this election, too. Glad I’ll be home with kith, kin and weapons before 11/03 rolls around. (Not that I expect problems in Larryville, but I’m glad I won’t be in SoCal on Election Day.)

Just did a Trader Joe’s run for more morning coffee stuff. While business owners have the right to run their operations as they see fit, I’m about done with TJ’s after the damned stupid hoops they made me jump through in the Camarillo store.

I can hardly wait to escape this farking Hell-state in three weeks.

Sorry to hear about that, Fatwa. When things were at their worst, COVID-wise, my local store had to limit the number of patrons in the store at any given moment (per Gov. Nuisance’s orders) -- that and you were required to wear a mask. Now it’s just wear a mask and maintain distance in the check-out line.
