Happy Thanksgiving, Wheelizens; I’m sure grateful to this community for enriching my life in ways I was wholly unprepared for the day I clicked the link to DHD from AoSHQ one July day many years ago…
Paddy --
That’s terrible about your friend from church; I very much hope his friends and family will stick by him as this (presumed) BS unfolds. Criminy!
Sven --
Hope that your power remains on and that poor maintenance of the grid doesn’t have a negative effect on your and Mrs. Sven’s celebration.
Was just reading a summary of the lawsuit Sidney Powell dropped late last night here in GA; among other things, it is possible that LambiePieK’s and my votes may have been affected. Which -- if true -- makes this election jiggering a whole lot more personal. Resser. Fresser.
I’ll be encountering some lefties today at one of our TG gatherings -- as we count our blessings I’ll be sure to thank Trump for the last four years. That should get things off to a good start.
Happy Thanksgiving, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
To say I’m thankful for all of you wonderful folks would be an understatement. The people I have met on Teh Wheel have enriched my life in ways I can’t describe. May God bless each and every one of you.
Odd. Power has been shut off all the way around us, like within a couple of hundred yards down the hill.
Although I just took a drive around the area, and the power seems to be on. Can’t trust anything on the intertubes. Still expect them to shut it down some time later today.
3. Almost 100,000 absentee ballots in Georgia were recorded as requested and were included in the vote count — except that there’s no record they were ever returned to county election boards…
One down, one to go. Stopped by the house on my way to meet up with Mrs Sven and her family -- still really windy, but up in the hills, we have power. Down the hill in the flatlands/suburb part of the valley, no power. Makes no sense. No fire has ever started at the Vons market and then spread up into the hills, at least none that I can recall. This area is all paved streets, schools, parks, houses, and shopping centers with a fire station right there. The power company keeps calling every hour and leaving messages that we could lose power at any time, but so far they haven’t made good on that threat.

Good morning, Fatwa, and Happy Thanksgiving, GN. Echoing Fatwa: I am thankful that this community still survives and that I am a part of it.
Been looking for a summary of Powell’s kraken, but haven’t found it yet.

Another reason to thank Trump. Amy Barrett already paying dividends as SCOTUS rules 5-4 against Cuomo.

Hiya, Sven!
The Post-Apocalyptic version of the Macy’s Parade sucks way worse than usual.
No audience.
At least the character balloons aren’t wearing face masks.
Paw-freakin’-thetic.
Happy Thanksgiving, Gerbil Nation!

Good morning, Paddy.
Fatwa, I forgot about the parade thing -- I thought millions of New Yorkers would be there, no? Those sad, brave balloons…
The Santa Anas seem to have arrived earlier than forecast today -- really blowing hard.
Here’s hoping SCE doesn’t shut off your power!
Hi, Paddy!
Sven --
Hope the winds don’t cause you any problems.

Sven -- here’s a summary of the Powell lawsuit:

Thanks. This one is interesting:

I wonder who those people who didn’t turn in their votes voted for?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’ll be working tonight so I think I’m cooking tomorrow.

So for once corporate ineptitude works in your favor!
