So, has it ever occurred to anyone here that Pres. Trump is probably the luckiest guy ever to hold the office? Just sayin’… That’s why I don’t count him out.
Plus, if he actually looses, he may be back in 2024.
But wouldn’t it be funny if Biden just happened to kick the bucket before the (appropriately named) “deadline,” so to speak? Or if both he and Kamala bought it in a freak hair sniffing incident……………. Where… I dunno… they both go tumbling down a flight of stairs and land on Nancy Pelosi………
Pres. Trump does seem to have that level of luck, oddly enough.
Teh Older and I were having a discussion about this yesterday. He’s angry, fed up, and frustrated that there seems to be nothing he can do about the situation, at least in the near term.
I see there have been daily protests in front of Garcetti’s house but haven’t seen any effigies being burned, hanged, etc. yet. AFAIC, that shit’s well-warranted.

My nephew is having a birthday celebration at a local restaurant/bar this afternoon. Fortunately, the ban on in-person dining doesn’t go into effect until just before midnight tonight.
A take-out curry place just opened up nearby and we gave them a try last night. We’ll definitely be going back.
because wind because the state government, at all levels, is too corrupt and too uncaring to require a public utility to maintain their infrastructure in such a way as to not cause fires when the inevitable winds come, while still guaranteeing said utilities a decent rate of return.
I’m hopeful that Trump will pick up at least one win this week in the courts, but that’s not based on anything concrete. I think he’s managed to shine a bright light on voter fraud, actual and potential, much like he’s exposed media bias and the swamp infestation in all areas of the federal govt, but yeah, Biden is going to be POTUS although not for any real length of time. Trump was able to energize the country, but not fundamentally change the Republican Party. With him gone, they’ll quickly return to their old ways of compromise and not rocking the boat.
How to live with the next few years on a personal level is going to be challenging and unclear, at least for me. How do you fight what America is rapidly becoming?

I’ve resigned myself to the fact Teh Big Steal is all-too-likely to ultimately succeed…and that I’m not going to like the result one damned bit.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I’m in agreement: fraud occurred and Biden will be POTUS followed soon thereafter by Harris. Next steps? I don’t know.
I don’t know, but I suspect the Democrat plans call for disarming the public before going too far.
That’s always there go to activity, but I have great hopes that the SCOTUS will be our bulwark now.
