Glad I can finally access this site. Had that problem all of last week -- except on Tuesday. Per Brenda, who made some inquiries via FB, Joe Schmo thought it was likely there was some DNS issue (possibly related to the winter storms) and that it would go away in a few days.
Here’s hoping it has. I’ll go back and see what I’ve missed later today.
Jim’s daughter recently moved to the Houston area from San Diego with her husband, a Texan, and their three kids. They’ve been staying at his Mom’s house the past several days, which apparently never lost power for any significant period.
Hope Mac, Elena and their family haven’t experienced any major weather-related problems.
We’ve had several sub-freezing nights (low 20s); tonight is the last one for a while, so we’ve been running a water drip and have managed to avoid any burst pipes. (Did some research a few years ago which yielded that with pressurized pipes, the “danger zone” is around 22-23ºF, but we’ve been erring on the side of caution.)

Here’s Schrödinger’s cat plotting revenge while in the box; wonder if it was successful…or not. 😉

Good morning, Fatwa!
Fatwa -- glad to see you back and most glad to hear that you’ve avoided major weather-related problems. Global Warmening is sure bad this winter, isn’t it? Which reminds me, NOAA dutifully reported late last year that most of the country would have above-average temperatures this winter. I guess we can add them to the list of government know-nothings.
Picked up Andy Ngo’s book on antifa -- Unmasked. I admire the work he’s done and the book isn’t bad. It’s also heavily footnoted for the professional fact checkers. It does beg the question as to why the elites ignore this clear and present danger in favor of the bugaboo of white supremacy.
Happy Caturday, Wheelizens!

What are you out of today? Water, power, or both?
Patience. Clean underwear.
