A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
My MiL’s master bath remodel begins this week, so I’m going over today to install and hand-held showerhead in the main bath, so she can use that while hers is under construction. I hope the project goes well and is minimally disruptive to her.
I hope the work on your MIL’s bathrooms goes well, Paddy’O and is joyous for you. ie. no wasteful trips to the hardware store, no barked knuckles, no breaking pipe joints, etc.
It ended up being very easy. The existing showerhead had been installed with teflon tape, so it came off without any trouble and the new fixture was easy to install. Now if she could just decide on the tile for the bathroom/shower floor…
I fixed stuffed boneless pork chops and Hasselback potatoes for dinner. They both turned out very well. It was the first time I’ve tried cooking potatoes this way. I think I might up the temperature next time to get more crispy edges.
I picked up an 8lb pork loin from Costco, on sale for $0.98 / lb., cut it up into 2lb chunks, and put them in the freezer. If it was just Mrs. Paddy and myself, I’d cut it up into 1lb. chunks.
I added some dried cranberries to the stuffing and that worked out really well.

Sunday Gerbils!!
I see Harper has posted another sonnet.
I haven’t read them in awhile. I hope they hold up, and are not too cringeworthy.
If I remember correctly, this was a sequence of 7 or 8, and was based on a free verse that I wrote in my early 20s.
