I keep hearing about Georgia’s “Jim Crow” voter suppression law from Biden -- since it was the Democrats that instituted them in the first place, and since Biden’s best buddy in the Senate was a former klansman, he ought to be an expert on the matter but appears to keep getting it wrong. Odd, that.
I wondered that myself. I was sad to see he had passed.. I have wondered if she would not have already done this but for her disappointment in the successors. I get the impression she has felt she was needed.
Regarding the Chauvin trial, there were a couple of things that came up the last couple of days that were interesting --
1) The expert witness yesterday that claimed that Floyd died solely from Chauvin’s knee on his back/neck had several animated videos that he claimed showed all types of details of the event -- these exhibits were given to the defense to review the night before -- obviously with no time to prepare for testimony the next day.
2) A few months ago, the defense requested that they be allowed to examine both Floyd’s car and the police car involved that day, that have been impounded and sealed since May. Both vehicles had been searched as part of the BCA investigation. While doing their own examination and under the watchful eyes of court/police observers, the defense pointed out pills lying on the floorboards of both vehicles. In both cases, the pills contained fentanyl and meth and had Floyd’s DNA on them. How the original investigators overlooked them is a mystery.
Happy Kitteh-Friend Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Fatwa!
When we lived in our condo, our cat had a friend. Sometimes the friend would lay on our fence waiting for our cat. Sometimes our cat would lay on his fence waiting for him.
Isn’t it odd that MLB is moving the All-Star game to a state that requires voter ID? And has fewer days of early voting?
It’s good when cats have friends.
Happy Friday, GN!

It’s Friday…Teh Yay!
Hi Sven!
Aren’t cats’ friends more accurately described as evil turlet paper-mangling, breath-sucking co-conspirators?
Really tired of my state being vilified for phony “Jim Crow” shit.
Even more tired of the Government-Media-Progressive Complex.

Mood:
Sad news, but hardly unexpected given the man’s age: The Duke of Edinburgh passed away at Windsor Castle on the morning of Friday, April 9.
I wonder if this will push Queen Elizabeth II to step down and appoint a successor?
I wondered that myself. I was sad to see he had passed.. I have wondered if she would not have already done this but for her disappointment in the successors. I get the impression she has felt she was needed.
Will the Queen survive much longer after the death of her husband? I kind of doubt it, which means a new monarch sooner rather than later.
