Welcome home, Paddy! Glad you had a pleasant sojourn.
Sure wish I could just bury my head in the sand and ignore Teh Krayzee gripping out country…but I can’t. Given our venal “leadership”, media and pent-up anger of the citizenry, I cannot even begin to imagine what might happen when the lid comes off.
It’s. Gonna. Suck. Mightily.
Time to continue excavating my inbox.

Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
One of the blessings and curses of technology is that you are (almost) always reachable. Mrs. Paddy was responding to the IM’s I was sent as I was driving home yesterday. One of my responses included the phrase, “I’m driving through the Grapevine and my wife is typing my responses. I don’t have time to look at the pictures you’ve sent.”
Regardless of this outcome, I have the feeling that this is just Seanon 1, Episode 1. Episode 2 will be Garrett Rolfe in Atlanta followed by Episode 3 featuring Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha. The threat of major violence whenever the media/activists can paint an incident as racist is the new normal.
While not surprised by the verdict, I am disappointed and was way off in what I thought the outcome would be. From what I saw and heard, there was enough evidence presented for reasonable doubt on all charges -- enough evidence that it should have taken more than 4-8 hours of deliberation to come to a verdict even if that verdict was guilty.
The other three officers involved in this are toast and the left’s shock troops can be nothing but emboldened by this -- “see, if we didn’t “protest” all last year, he would have been let go.”
I’ve always liked Greg Gutfeld over on Fox News. Used to watch him on Red Eye many years ago; saw him at the Reagan Libray; bought his books; and his daily show show that started a couple weeks ago has been generating huge ratings. And then he comes out with this today: “But there was another story being played a lot, and now I’m just gonna get really selfish,” Gutfeld continued. “I’m glad that he was found guilty on all charges, even if he might not be guilty of all charges, I am glad that he is guilty of all charges because I want a verdict that keeps this country from going up in flames.”
Now there’s a principled stand. Sacrifice a man to keep yourself safe. I think the blow back on this one might just sink him and sadly I won’t shed many tears if he loses his gig.
The stupidity of his statement, beyond the obvious cowardice, is in thinking that the game is over now and we can all move forward together. That isn’t the case -- this trial showed the mob that their tactics are effective and no one drops a successful tactic.
G’mornin’, GN!

Peak crazy is right around the corner! I’m sure we’ll reach it sometime soon!! And then things can get back to normal!!!
Hey, Sven!
The new normal:
Sadly, being crazy will not keep you looking young.

Odd. Don’t think CNN is covering this.

Verdict reached in the Chauvin trial -- not a good sign for Chauvin. Should be read in the next hour or so.

When you have members of Congress openly calling for violence, it’s hard not to expect it.
This is why we can’t have ni…
Awww, nevermind. Too easy.
And there we go -- guilty on all counts, the law and the facts be d@mned.
Angels weep.
But the left rejoices and begins their victory laps.

Wow.
Just.
Wow.
Gutfeld’s moral compass is spinning like a top -- assuming he even has one at this point.
Oh, Gutfield.
I, too, am an old Red Eye fan. This breaks my heart!
