One thing I appreciated about Trump was that he seemed to be okay with “American exceptionalism” and understood better than many recent presidents how to be the proverbial 800-pound gorilla.
As re what CivWar 2.0 might look like, I’ve not the faintest clue…except it’d be ugly as hell. I fear we’re headed in that direction, ‘tho.
My best guess is that it would be regional rather than state(s) vs. state(s). Possibly the “coastal enclaves” against the rest of the country with the addition of skirmishes in / around non-coastal cities which are heavily “liberal” (by which I mean socialist-leaning).

I have this set to Footloose music but could not find a link to it. I enjoy it often. I love the way it starts with a line of police lighting up and then pans over to the hotfoot guys. FOUND IT! Replaced above.
Always a good one. The brilliant thinkers of Antifa can’t figure out how to smother the flames (how about taking off your hoodie and wrapping the guys feet in it?), so the hated police calmly walk over with a fire extinguisher.
I loved that part, they rather downplayed it. The moron trying to beat out the flames with the rigid shield just kept the others from helping. Had to be government employee.

When you can’t find fresh squirrel in your supermarket meat counter -- or your suburban neighbors complain when you shoot the local population -- Chicken of the Tree does the job.
Sven -- glad you finally got more than a couple of hours of sleep. Prayers for continued healing.
Well some good news from my brother -- after almost 18 months of negotiation with the buyer and the banks, he and his wife have finally sold off their main business. Their plan is to spend the rest of the year looking for a place for retirement -- Prescott, AZ is at the top of the list right now.
That is good news. I’d hate to have to go through negotiations that long. Your life is on hold and at the mercy of people who don’t give a sh!t, or who are actively prolonging the process for their own gain.
