Today’s thread pic reminds me of the time many years ago when I rubbed my eye and discovered my “after jalapeƱo-chopping hand-washing” had been slightly inadequate.

Maaaaaan…if it was within my power, the Hell’s Half-Acre HOA would be a smoking crater. Some of the homeowners there are still corporeal solely due to my living at the other end of the continent.
Good morning, Fatwa. Well, no one stole anything from us last night. That’s good news; bad news on my end is this morning is my second interrupted sleep this week with eye pain. I do have a doctor’s appt in two weeks at UCLA for a second opinion. This is going on three years now and I can’t take much more.
Got our voter pamphlet for the recall election yesterday -- looks like the same process as 2020 -- you can cast your vote in many different ways. I’m thinking tho that the votes are only going to be counted in one way.
I was over in Calabasas the other day -- that’s still LA County -- and drove past three gas stations. Their gas prices were all the same: Regular Unleaded -$4.79; XXXX Unleaded -- $4.89; Super Unleaded -- $4.99.
I know some stations in the LA area are already over $5 a gal, but i haven’t seen them yet.
To reduce sticker shock, gas stations ought to start selling by the liter.
Happy Friday, GN!
Mac --

Cheetos -- they are worse than Doritios.

I think you’re right about the vote counting.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Sven -- I’m sorry your eye is still troubling you. I hope the doctors at UCLA can help you.
