I’m probably gonna be absent for a couple of days. Between the (literally) fascist bullshit from our fake POTUS yesterday, the upcoming anniversary of 09/11 and the ongoing JimCo carp, I’m not good company.
After some sleep, my prediction on what comes next is that 1) private companies will for the most part begin to immediately comply with Biden’s vaccine mandate, and 2) where legal, not that “legal” means anything anymore, companies will forego offering the option of weekly testing in lieu of vaccination. Trying to track weekly tests for any number of employees would become a logistical nightmare compared to a one-time go/no go of a vaccine passport, and 3) there isn’t going to be any exemptions for employees working remote.
This really is a line in the sand moment. I’m not thinking that it won’t end well; I’m hoping that it won’t end well.

True. My neighbor works for Universal Studios as a COVID test tracker -- for one show. Now multiply that by the number of shows they produce and factor in that most of those people are being tested on-site, not at a local clinic and you can see what a nightmare it would be for your average company.
Q: Dr. Fauci was finally asked why people with natural immunity should be required to get the covid vaccine given studies that show we have more protection.
A: “I don’t have a really firm answer for you on that.”
He has the temerity to state that we don’t know the durability of natural immunity, when we already know that the vaccine doesn’t provide immunity to the COVID virus.
Happy Friday, GN!

Hope y’all have a swell day; see ya soon.
Naw, you are always good company, Fatwa, but understood. Prayers for a clear head and lower blood pressure.
Ditto on the prayers.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- I completely understand. Give my best to your lovely bride, sit and listen to some good music, and stay away from the “news”.

Pretty funny -- Fauci has no idea about natural immunity:

Well… Slept through Most of Friday. Until Harper was so concerned about me that she texted a friend of mine and he came over to visit.
I had some spaghetti sauce I made a while back in the freezer, So I heated it up along with some meatballs and we had it over angel hair pasta.
Good times.
