I guess I’m glad about the VA gubernatorial election if for no other reason than the “justifiably angry parents at school board meetings are domestic terrorists” BS.
I expect Phil Murphy will end-up prevailing in NJ, as it seems that contest is well within the margin-of-theft.
Could not care less about the Braves’ win, but I suppose it’s nice for ATL folks who care about sportsball.
It’s hilarious that Uncle Choo-Choo is trying to blame gas prices on OPEC and Russia; the people pulling his strings think we’re that stupid.
With pork products soon to be eliminated in California, cats might be a tasty alternative.
Hello, Fatwa -- good morning, GN!
I view last night’s election results not so much as a Republican win, but as a refutation of leftist dogma. And that makes me happy.
I haven’t followed baseball in a long time, but I’m happy whenever the underdog wins, especially in this case after the All Star Game debacle and the relocating of that game to Denver from Atlanta.
I think you can get prion syndrome from “long pig” though. In the pacific Islands, you could tell the locals to hold up their hands, if their hands shake, they have prion disease from the long pig.
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Sven, and dv8 (and Harper!)!
After the cheating scandal involving the Houston Astros and the League’s failure to meaningfully punish the offenders, I’m glad Atlanta won.
There’s still time for the Dems to pull out a victory in VA -- they just have to print more ballots and continue the counting until the correct result is obtained.
I’m off to bed after the Big(er) Route this morning.
Our Vaximanated ™ employee who gave us all quite a scare, is back at work. This week, she’ll be doing only half the route, sensibly taking it easy the first week, but she seemed to be full of energy and in good spirits when I saw her this morning.
She was wearing a mask, and took her papers with her instead of folding them in the warehouse. She is concerned about passing the virus to my wife who she knows is on immunomodulators, even though the doctors have said she is no longer contagions. It is very considerate of her.
I spent the evening listening to 80s and 90s music after putting “Seal” into the search in Pandora. I guess I was taking a break from the Savage Podcast, but in any event, I’m almost caught up to the present day on that listening project.
While out running errands, just heard that McAuliffe conceded the VA goobernatorial [sic] race; wonder if the Dem’s election theft machine was unprepared for the huge shift (15%) by suburban woman voters?
Re CA free-range long pig: the state could simply test for prion disease prior to processing. Goodness knows the gummint out there is wonderfully competent at everything they undertake.

Glad your cow-worker is back and so considerate of you and Harper.
I find the “rebranding” of Facebook interesting; seems like it might be an attempt to preempt something headed their way. (Since “virtual reality social media” strikes me as a horrible concept; VR Twitter doesn’t sound at all appealing to me.)
I have the Kyle Rittenhouse trial live streaming in the background -- the state is playing a video from that night with the videographer narrating -- something that the defense objects to as the the guy that took the video is not on the stand. Why are they playing it? Because the state claims that the narrator is describing Rittenhouse’s state of mind during the shooting.
Defense attorney: “Unless this narrator can read minds, ridiculous. This narrator will prove my client’s state of mind? That’s absurd. The panapoly of what’s going on, if it’s not the opinions of the narrator, that goes to what may or may not have been seen by my client. Someone yelling, they’re throwing things, there’s a layer, I”m not objecitng to that. We’re objecting to the person who is running the feed and giving the editorial comments, that is hearsay.”
The judge appeared to be getting angrier by the moment with the state’s arguments and then called for a break before he lost it entirely.
The Raiders today cut loose their wide receiver, Henry Ruggs, after he was arrested for drunkenly crashing his car into another one and killing the woman driver. Most fan blog reactions are “what a tragedy for all involved” which is a marked contrast to when Gruden was let go for something he wrote in an email ten years ago. Haven’t seen any sports pundits rip this guy apart for killing a woman either.
Wednesday salutations, GN!

ahahahahahahahahahhha…. That pic tho!!!!!
Funny they would let this happen. They thought nothing of printing 20 million ballots in 2020

I have no idea who’s who, but I’ll show my solidarity and spirit….
GO SPORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, Sven!
Doesn’t CA have a surfeit of what could be termed “free range long pig”?
I think there’s a huge opportunity to solve a couple of problems out there simultaneously…if one is bold enough. 👿
Absolutely, man!
Two Birds
One Stone.
I think you can get prion syndrome from “long pig” though. In the pacific Islands, you could tell the locals to hold up their hands, if their hands shake, they have prion disease from the long pig.
Still, it would make excellent dog and cat food.
Only if “free range long pig” is code for “Democrats”.
Grass Fed, is code for vegans.
I only eat vegan cows.

It’s more cost effective if you know beforehand how many you need to print.
Well… morning everyone.

Have a nice morning, everyone.
Good for her getting back to work and her consideration.

And once again, Facebook is Rebranding to META

So #META: Make Everything Trump Again

Nope, that’s reserved for conservatives and White coaches.
One act is hateful; the other a tragedy. Go figure.
