My friend used to make what his cow-workers called “Dave’s Stand-up Coffee”. Those who had never tried it thought they meant you could stand a spoon up in it. Not true (the spoon might dissolve). They meant one sip and you involuntarily stood up and started being productive.
Again, we have the left projecting. He was just claiming that protesters were Nazis and racists but it was him that had masked and armored goons commit violence against peaceful protesters and bring government actions and seizures without due process or legal authorization.

I made Oma’s potato soup with meatballs and bratwurst. It was very smoky; it comes out different every time.
We all went to sleep pretty early last night--around 8 or 9pm. Niece is still asleep as I write this. I miss being able to sleep for 12 hours without stirring. Ah those were the days!!
When she wakes up, I may make a big breakfast if she doesn’t want to go out exploring right away. Not sure what her plans are.

Mrs. Paddy and I re-stained/sealed the fence on one side of the house and a portion of the fence on the other. We needed to get to those sections before all the plants make it impossible to get at. Now time for a little food.
