Dv8 -- Kid Rock has done some really good stuff -- I mentioned the album Rock n’ Roll Jesus before as being great. On the other hand, he’s done some terrible stuff as well, or stuff clearly not to my liking, most of his early rap stuff falls into that category.
After numerous tests and several biopsies, we were informed that LambiePieK has a fairly aggressive cancer. She’ll be getting chemo weekly starting next Friday for six weeks, at which time they’ll make a decision re surgery or another six weeks of chemo.
We’ll know more at that point.
Brenda’s not pitiful and has a good attitude. (Thank heavens we share an inappropriate sense of humor.) She says that if you have any inappropriate jokes, lay ’em on us.
I likely won’t be around as much as usual for a while, as between SackO’SugarK and JimCo, I’ve got lots of stuff to do.
Shall I send her some hard ginger candies that already taste like old shellfish and metal? You know, to settle her stomach and keep the mouth moist. It’s the most popular flavour after the slightly vomitish with a hint of hot bicycle tyre in the back of your nose flavour.
I am so sorry, Fatwa. i will tell Elena when she gets home. She is very fond of you both and we speak of you often. I am POed that you have to deal with this villainous scum while taking care of gentle Brenda. Please give her our best wishes when convenient.
Fatwa and Brenda -- I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. You don’t need to walk this path alone -- that’s what friends are for. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Share what you feel comfortable with and don’t feel the need to answer questions you don’t want to, or aren’t ready for.
If it comes to the point where BrendaK needs a commode chair, I may be able to find one with a nice Capodimonte chamber pot. You’ll probably want to sand down the seat so she doesn’t get splinters.
Oh, and urine drainage bags (catheter bags) can double as unique bota bags when you go on walks. “Is that white wine, or did I grab the wrong bag?”
