“One grande salted caramel tuna latte with a shot of liver, please.”
Happy Monday, Wheelizens!
Brenda says she’s “okay” this morning; hope that continues for the rest of the day.
Dreamt about HH-A last night -- as I do once or twice a week -- wonder what sort of scam they’re gonna try next. (As we’ve basically put them on notice that their attempt to fabricate a phony-baloney leak in our roof is not going to fly.)
Just had our new oven/stove delivered and installed. Done before 8am, must have been first on the list. The Home Depot is just down the road. Stove was working but the oven gave out a few weeks ago. Can’t complain after 14 years.
Happy Monday, boys. Speaking of boys and the lack of womyn here, has anyone heard from Tex lately? Hope she’s doing OK.
Fatwa: good news re: Brenda today -- hope she gets some good rest.
Mac: nice on the oven. I thought this year would be the year we redo the whole kitchen, but maybe, given the state of things and an uncertain future, I’ll just replace the oven. It’s an original, O’Keefe & Merrit, and 40 years old.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Mac, and Sven!
Excellent thread pic, Mac!
Fatwa -- I’m glad Brenda is doing “okay”.
Mac -- glad your new range delivery didn’t take all day. Our old range was still working after 26 years when we replaced it during our kitchen remodel. I had to fix the oven a couple of times and it was near impossible to find parts.
Sven -- forty years? Wow! You’ve gotten your money’s worth out of that range!
Mrs. Paddy and Teh Older took me to an axe throwing establishment in Oceanside yesterday. They teach you how to throw, coach you along the way, and let you go at it. They had a standard sized hatchet. A double-bladed hatchet, and a small skeleton-handled hatchet. Then, to get weird, you could throw 7-1/4 inch circular saw blades. At the end, the guy running the shop let Teh Older and I throw a 3/4 size double-bladed axe -- the type it takes two hands to throw. Lot’s of fun! Afterwards, we went to one of the local breweries and had dinner. It was a very fun day!
Just thinking out loud here, but Brandon had three children that made it to adulthood: Beau, Hunter, and Ashley. Both Ashley and Hunter are fvckups, while Beau is always one step away from sainthood.
What are the odds that two out of three kids have serious problems, but the third one doesn’t?

I have sexual harassment training this week -- I told my boss I already knew how to do it -- he wasn’t amused.
Some bosses have no sense of humor.

Eye bleach! That post should come with a warning!
This is when I really miss not saving the AutoMock image.
