I found out yesterday that the tank on my air compressor has a small crack at the bottom. A crack in a pressure vessel is no bueno. I’d like to replace the tank, but new tanks cost about the same as a new compressor. Oh well, I picked this one up used at a rummage sale and have definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it.
JimCo had the valve on a propane tank go south while it was being filled. Very glad it happened at the propane place rather than in the Volvo.
(While I didn’t have to do it often, I was always nervous carrying multiple filled propane tanks in that vehicle. Extra caution and situational awareness when doing so.)
Happy Monday, GN -- the start of another work-week. Bleh
Baby steps, dude.
Heh!
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Excellent thread pic, Mac!

¡No mierde!
Wise, as always. Too many don’t appreciate how dangerous a compromised tank is.

In addition to flying metal, you have the very real potential for a massive fireball.
I always tie my propane tanks down -- empty or full -- when taking them into to be refilled.
I tied ’em down, too.
There were some brackets which locked the rear seats upright and were attached to the frame; solid place to affix ratchet straps or rope.
(Still kind o’ miss that car.)
Like this one? Compromised tank.

Monday…feh.
Hiya, Sven and Paddy!
Love teh thread pic, Mac. (Despite the fact I’ve not been in Hunter’s hotel room, I feel like that critter looks.)
BK update: A bit achy and sleeping right now.
HH-A update: No mediation date set yet, despite several of the “windows” for all parties’ availability being this week.
HI, Fatwa -- which is going to end first: your HOA trial or the pandemic?
The heat death of the universe will beat both of those,
.
Yup.
Hi, Mac!
