I’m fine. Took out the driver’s side lights and horn, did lots of body damage, but no frame damage, it appears. Car still drove straight.
Neuro-Atypical fact:
I haven’t had an adrenaline response in traffic or many other normally tense situations--not all, but many--since I had a strange mishap in the mid 90s.
So, I didn’t even tap the brakes. I just looked in the side view mirror and saw the doe rolling into the curb behind me.
There was an RV behind me, so there was no question of slowing down.
If I ever get in a head-on collision, I’ll be like: “Ok… this is gonna happen now.”
After about half a minute though, I thought Well… I should probably call the boss, and let Harper know I’m okay.
Killed Bambi: Still never gone hunting.
Not sure if you’re able to keep the meat in AZ. (although I wouldn’t know what to do, even if you could) Gotten conflicting stories on it.
Scary Humanoid Wednesday greetin’s, GN!
dv8 --
I’m certainly old enough to remember Lycos; that and Alta Vista were my go-tos in the pre-Google days.
BK Update: Achy and short on sleep; I hope some appropriate meds and a long nap will be of assistance. Doin’ mostly okay aside from the preceding.
HH-A Update: Certain parties are lucky I won’t be in L.A. for Halloween. 👿

IT’S PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, Fatwa -- if you need a Halloween proxy…
Happy Shark-Belly Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- I hope BK can get some rest and feel better. Also, well played, sir. Well played.
Upper 90’s today. No thanks.
Last night went fairly smoothly.
Still driving the old Buick Sedan on The Big Route.
Since I hit that deer a few weeks ago (did I mention that?) it’s going to take a few months to get the white 2022 car fixed.
Other than that, everything went okay.
Um. That is all.
No, I don’t recall you mentioning putting Bambi on the grill. I hope you’re okay.

Sidenote: I do love venison.
Glad you didn’t get hurt and damage is minimal.

Never seen a shark lit like that and shot from that angle. Does look like a scary demon dude.
