Still on TOR, Pasting the thread pic into a regular browser gives me a very philosophically active racoon.
This seemed like a very long weekend because I got done so early with The Big Route on Friday. So I had actually a lot of Friday to enjoy… which I did by spending an eternity at mostly the grocery store.
I went on a Wild Bone Chase and did not find what I was looking for.
But all in all, got stuff that would work.
My bone broth has been cooking now for two and a half days. I just put some aromatic veggies in (other than that, you don’t spice this kind of broth) So in a couple of hours I’ll be straining it. It’s a huge job in my inadequate kitchen. I kind of bought a lot of what I already had in the fridge, aromatic veggie wise, then I just put all the old stuff in the broth.
I actually ended up getting too many bones and some of them were pretty meaty, so I trimmed off the meat and made some pork in the crockpot that I can put in the Ramen. And I have two pots going. My big stockpot and my second biggest one.
After a couple of days, the bones really start to dissolve.
This is going to have to go into the freezer directly, because I don’t really have room in the fridge for all this broth even just to cool it.
Happy Philosophical Raccoon Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and dv8 (and Harper!)!
Sven -- interesting comments regarding education. The youngest generation of voters delivered the votes for the far Left -- a clear indication of how successful the Left’s education indoctrination program has been.
dv8 -- that’s a lot of broth and a lot of work! Good on you for making it happen!
Coons. Tackling the big questions.
Happy Monday, GN. Back to the salt mines.
Had to dig out a tree stump yesterday -- feeling it this morning -- definitely not as young as I used to be.
Rain forecast for later this week -- that should make JimCo happy.
Very astute. .

Happy Monday, everyone.

The video of my broth cooking in its final hours is on my phone, I’m just going to give you a link to twitter:
