Good morning, Paddy. Christmas Eve blessings on all GN.
Still yucky. It brings to mind when I was three or so and had pneumonia at Christmas and my father bundled me up and carried me outside to see the Christmas lights. Sick at Christmas. Bah humbug.
I’d like to ask for prayers from all y’all. A couple of hours ago I was served as a defendant in a lawsuit regarding my employment at the brick and mortar school that caused my years of problems. The date of the worst accusation doesn’t even align with when I was teaching and the supposed age of the plaintiff then and now don’t meet the requirements of basic math, either (the name of my accuser is being withheld and I was served only by my initials (other defendants include the school district and a host of John Does). Nevertheless, I will need to find an attorney and undergo the expense of fighting this case. This is not the type of Christmas present I would wish on anyone.
I’m sorry to hear about this. I’ve long since told anyone who had the nerve to ask me: Don’t do anything in life, if it requires a license, especially if it is for a living. I’m starting to think that may include driving as well.
Happy Christmas Eve Day Caturday, firsties, Gerbil Nation!
I hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

I am so sorry to see this. You have had so much more than your share of this garbage.
Ah geez. Prayers, of course. This is just awful.

We. Are. Not. Free.
I wish I could say something more encouraging.
P.S. We will pray.
