Bullshit work slogan of the day that I’m sick of: “Diversity is our strength.”
I remember 30 years ago where the company I worked at was developing their mission statement -- they were all the rage back then. What they came up with: “We are totally committed to a quality effort designed to achieve customer delight.”
Not much has changed in 30 years. Still all a bunch of meaningless pap.
On a lighter note, I helped get the house cleaned up and free of debris, and took a lot of stuff to Good Will.
I even took our old TV which I was thinking about using as a monitor. But I decided my monitor situation is fine, and there is no need for more clutter.
A vision-impaired musician reminded me that today is Brenda’s birthday! Happy birthday, Brenda -- in celebration, Mac is organizing a caption contest, right Mac? Mac?
It’s BK’s birthday??? Well then, this calls for a celebration! I’m trying out a new baker and gave them free reign to create the perfect BD cake for BK. Let’s see how they did.
