Thinking that the ptb will continue indicting Trump until his supporters make an “incident” that they can hang around his neck like Charlottesville or Jan6.
I think it’s a win-win for them. With the incredibly low bar that the left sets for an “incident” to be indicative of MAGA right-wing extremism/terrorism/racism/anyism that sets them on a frenzy for months/years, someone spitting on the sidewalk or using the “wrong” pronouns will be enough. And if that doesn’t happen, then they just use the more controlled leaks and politicized “Justice” system to thousand cut Trump.
I do think Trump has made a mistake in how he frames his outrage, namely that he shouldn’t be outraged at all. If he came out and just said of course I’ve been indicted, it’s no surprise, this is how bad the fed govt has become and it is just getting worse -- sans hyperbole -- he’d look much more capable.
