It’s good to be back. It was wonderful to sleep in my own bed and take a decent shower with decent water pressure. Now it’s off to church, followed by a potluck, where I’m filling in for someone on some barbershop quartet music.
California’s humane bacon law went into effect yesterday, but pork shortages and such probably won’t be seen for at least a few months. It should be a real lesson in supply and demand as I doubt that farmers in the rest of the country are going to invest in redoing their ranches to comply with it.

Judging from the number of coon thread pics lately, I’m guessing that maybe July is National Coon Pride Month?
