Going to waste some more money today getting some dents taken out of my truck and having it repainted. Yeah, it’s 18 years old, but I’d like it looking a bit nicer.
Years ago when I was still drinking and driving regularly, I smashed the quarter panel on the passenger side while parking it. That was kind of a wakeup call and I left the dent in as a reminder to stop being an idiot.
I should say I’m still an idiot in many ways, but hardly drink anymore and don’t drive if I’ve had more than one.
A cat question. I’ve mentioned before that Tatum won’t drink water out of a bowl, only a pitcher. He has two pitchers: one is in the upstairs bathroom and the other is in the downstairs hallway outside of that bathroom. A couple of months ago, he started sleeping on the bathroom rug near his upstairs water pitcher. We figured it was just cooler than his normal spots and didn’t think anything about it. Last week, we had our AC guy come out and since the attic access is above where Tatum’s water is, I moved his pitcher into the bathroom. When I went to move it back, there’s the cat sleeping on a rug next to it. I left in the bathroom and now he spends a couple of hours a day sleeping in the downstairs bathroom too.
It seems odd behavior, like he’s guarding his water. He’s not drinking anymore than usual. Any ideas or it’s just a cat thing?

We’d put a small bowl of water on the bathroom counter and sometimes our cat would sleep there, but not often.
