Happy Monday morning firsties, Gerbil Nation!

I see that Kamala Harris, during a speech in Baltimore, called for reducing population as a means to cleaner air and water. Obviously someone has not positioned her for success.

Hi, Paddy -- She forgot to add the word “conservatives” to that statement.

Hey everyone.

So I resorted to calling the Cable company. The automated thingy confirmed that there was indeed an outage. It must have been a pretty big one, because the Cell Phone network was way overtaxed for data at least in prime time.

I’d say about an hour or so after I made the call, the cable internet came back on,

After about an hour, I got a text from them that the outage had been resolved.

Well. it’s Monday.

I feel generally rested.

We both woke up this afternoon to the sound of gigantic raindrops. There was a completely rogue storm that put a damper on our 106 degree day. Supposedly we are going to have cooler weather for about a week or so, at least, after this.

Anyway, the rain came out of nowhere; the herbs always like it when it rains. Not sure how or why, but they always perk right up when it rains even if it’s a little bit. Although it’s not as pronounced now that I have been religiously watering them every day, either in the morning, when I’m still up, or in the afternoon when I wake up.

I didn’t try to reverse my schedule this weekend. I was happy to leave it as was.
