I held a meeting today with the committee that my principal put together to develop the system that I’m in charge of. She didn’t attend, but her close friend the assistant principal did. I closed the meeting with action items for the team as a whole, and for specific individuals. This afternoon I get a meeting invitation from the AP for next Tuesday -- me, her, and the principal. I asked what information she wanted me to provide (gee, do you think you could put that in a separate email or in the invitation?). She wants to know what the next steps are for program implementation and what help I need from them. We need a meeting for this? Why not just ask me in an email or DM? This is from the same two people who for the last two years have said they want to hold biweekly meetings to keep informed, but canceled after one meeting.
Happy Friday Firsties, Gerbil Nation!
That cat may be imprisoned now, but he’s plotting both his escape, and his revenge.
Hi, Paddy -- good day, GN.

This is why I’m afraid to apply for that six figure city job I otherwise know I can do.
I guess this is late for a Friday entry.
My long shift on Thursday/Friday, was longer by a bit than usual. But I did approach it pretty efficiently. I really do need a new job though.
I’m not the best at changing jobs, though, as I keep saying : )
