Boy, has it been a day. There was a tentative special education student meeting on my calendar. I emailed the case manager this morning to see if it was confirmed, and never got a response. I prepped for the meeting, which usually takes about an hour to read through the student’s file and start the paperwork. I DM’d the case manager just before the meeting and she said, no, we’re not holding the meeting today. Glad I asked. Meanwhile, on the family business side of things, I’ve been trying to organize everyone to provide documents our auditor has requested for 2022. In putting together some myself, I find that the uncle who is doing the accounting (the CPA), has not only not entered about one third of the payroll data, but has done parts of it wrong. This has been an ongoing struggle and we’re all pretty much sick of it. I swear, tracking down his errors takes more time than just doing the job myself. Fixing his errors takes even more time.
