In re KC: last night all I heard about was the one confirmed death and the growing number of injured. From the way journalisms were talking, it sounds like most of the injuries were caused by people trampling each other, not from gunshots.
Hi, Paddy. This morning they put the numbers at 22 shot, 9 of them children. Three “arrested” and more than one gun recovered. My thought is still gang-related and people caught in the crossfire, but that’s a lot of crossfire hits.
I almost feel bad at Ace’s turn of phrase, but not too much.

I’d heard about this, policeman panics and opens fire after an acorn falls on him, but just saw the video today. This is a real long and in-depth look at the incident with videos and the final report -- I havent watched all of it -- but I have a hard time understanding why this cop wasn’t charged with attempted murder. It reminded me a lot of the Minneapolis shooting of Justine Damond several years ago with the only difference, and I don’t know how, no one was killed.
