The start of another week. I’m so excited, I can barely stay in my chair.

Thanks, Mac, for the cat history lesson video. I’ve added The History Guy to my list of things to watch. Hard to believe tho that cats, at one time, were actually useful and had jobs. What happened to them?

Still playing with the water leak. It might be more connected to the water feature in the backyard rather than an actual leak. Might be a faulty float valve that won’t shut off. Even if that isn’t the cause, I need to replace it. Fun stuff.

Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

Cats -- always willing to share, but in the most disgusting ways possible.

Sven -- I hope replacing the float valve takes care of the problem. That would be a lot easier than a leak under your foundation.

SCOTUS, in a 9-0 decision, ruled that states cannot remove a Presidential candidate from the ballot.

So SCOTUS is complicit in destroying democracy. Sad.

Was Sunday the last day of democracy or is today the last day of democracy? I want to get my calendar right.

Democracy dies in darkness…and on March 4. Sniff. It makes my leak and work problems seem so insignificant.

Next thing you know, just like they warned us, Trump will be elected President by a minority of White, Christian Nationalists that hate democracy. The correct-thinking majority of democracy-loving BIPOCs will then have no choice (more in sorrow than in anger) but to take over the country by any means necessary to preserve the freedom to choose our own leaders.

In that case, I’m sure it will be a fiery, but “mostly peaceful” endeavor on their part.

I never knew that votes had genders.
Hmm, does that mean I can change my vote as often as I wish? Can I have multiple votes?
