Mrs. Paddy and I are driving up to Paradise, CA tomorrow morning, along with a few other people from our churches, to finish up some houses for people made homeless by the Camp fire in November 2018. The weather should be good for working -- from a high of 71 on Monday to a high of 55 on Friday. We’ll probably get some rain Thursday night and on through Saturday, so we’ll have to see how that impacts what we do.
We never really know until we get there. They’ll say one thing a couple of weeks out, then when you get there the need has changed and it will be something else. As of mid-day today, it was either building a deck, exterior painting, working punch-list items, or general clean-up of construction debris around some of the properties.
Yeah, yeah, yeah -- cats.
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
A small storm cell passed over our area yesterday, early evening. We had wind, thunder, lightning, and hail! None of that was on the weather forecast.

A whole week you’ll be up there? Good on you guys. What type of work will you be doing?

Bummer -- we aren’t just losing our fire coverage, but our entire homeowners policy won’t be renewed. Something to figure out.
Well, carp! That ain’t good! Who do you currently have coverage with?
