Every city is famous for something.

We’ve all received damaged packages from USPS. Yesterday we received a personal letter that had been damaged in transit and the Postal Service was nice enough to enclose it in a plastic bag with this message.

Maybe. Although I’m not aware of any USPS “rapid processing methods” that still use fire.

Maybe they need to slow down their “rapid processing” if it’s causing enough friction to catch letters on fire. Either that, or the postal workers need to put down their meth pipes.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!

Teh Older and his bride picked up their cat last night. Mrs. Paddy and I are still watching for her when we open the door to the garage or go outside.

At UC Irvine -- a campus known for its history of anti-Semitic activities -- the chancellor has allowed the pro-terrorist encampment to remain and is willing to accede to some of their demands. I wonder if a right-leaning group took over campus if he’d be so accommodating?

The cat leaving left a void -- perhaps a squirrel could fill that hole?

It’s odd. No one makes me go to a particular school, so if I didn’t like what they supported in some financial fashion, I would have 1) Known that beforehand and not gone, or 2) Left once I knew. I wouldn’t go to a vegan restaurant and demand that they give me a burger and then occupy, vandalize, and disobey their rules until they gave in.

I’m fine with the free speech argument -- if you hate Jews and want to scream that, go ahead. It’s the double-standard that pisses me off.
